I left at 730 this morning from Baker and home in Castlegar at 230 thanks to some empty back roads.
Wa 25. Always a lovely ride

Great event ! Hard to beat Baker as a destination in my mind and with some familiar friends and great new acquaintances, it was a terrific weekend. YES
to doing this again next year !!!
I am so happy with my Guzzi
Everything but the tight twisties is lovely for this bike. Really tight corners, in succession ... require a lot of thought and awareness of the cornering limits. But everything else is a dream to ride. I am liking this bike more and more

It was nice seeing everyone again, this was the third STN event I was able to attend this year, even though it overlapped a PNWRiders event I coordinate. Maybe next time we can start the PNWRiders event on Friday and double the fun. I hope everyone had a good ride home.

This was Steve's Ride. See above. We got a great deal at the Oregon Trail thanks to him
ST.n tagged along and we are happy we did.
The three (or was it four) big Kawasaki's were almost ... er .. almost ... overshadowed by THREE Moto Guzzi NORGE's !!!!
Er .. ah .. OF COURSE THEY WERE !!!
Most amazing, and possibly timeless bike of the get together is Rob707 and his timeless BMW K12. Ever try and keep up with him?
Cecil is and was, the official photographer of this event ... he, being the consummate nice guy, was in a unique position to catch us all ... at our worst !!

Crazy weather on the way home. As I descended into Pendelton the temps really shot up to almost 90F at 8:45am accompanied by huge and extremely gusty winds. Then they died down and temps went up and down all over the place. Must have been a hell of a cold front moving through. I got a bit of rain in northern Washington but managed, with an early start to stay ahead of a big storm. I imagine others may not have. The tumbleweeds were flying !!

Great to see everyone again and meet new friends.
I heard comments about wanting to do it again.

We had 2 cruisers and here the 2-up HD passes the fast squad to everyone's pleasure ...

Well, Sandie and I made it back home early this afternoon. We stayed in Coulee City last night. A wicked storm came through around 8:00 last night. Glad we were settled in our room before it hit.
It was great getting reacquainted with old friends and meeting new ones. Looking forward till the next meet.

Can't wait for the next one in June. Of course, it'll probably be scheduled for the weekend of my daughter's 18th birthday (June 6). But that's okay, I'll just make the September one, unless of course it ends up on the weekend of my wife's 40th birthday (Sept. 15).
