Hey guys! Just picked up a new bike last week. I know it might not be the 1st thing most people would think of for a sport tourer but this is what I'll be riding for everything from the commute to work to track days to 2500 miles in 5 day trips! I have a little over 600 miles on her so far (time for 1st service tonight) and I cant get enough!!

Sorry, there's no way you could tour on that. Trade it in on an FJR.

Now peel off all 72 of those silly warning stickers.

Clarified that for you.  I've never seen a company so warning-sticker happy as Aprilia.

Just goes to show that the definition of sport tourer is bounded only by one's ability to pack light and tolerate pain.

...a Japanese manufacturer might take the motor, castrate it to about 110 hp and stick it in a cheaper, heavier chassis with low-spec suspension and brakes and slice an ‘R’ or two off the name. That’s not how Aprilia roll

Thanks for all the replies. I have started with the warning label removal. Im at three.....and there were 19 total to begin with. Utter insanity. Anywhoo yes  it does sound about like sex, and no I don't think I'll be trading it in for an FJR anytime soon. I have a good buddy who works at a fab shop and I am pretty handy on 3D modeling programs so over the winter I am going to design a luggage rack for it. I'll keep you all updated on the touring modifications and their effectiveness.
