I remember you were quite chuffed about the Versys.

Did you let it go to a better home?

Just traded her in. The Versys is a great wee bike, wouldn't say a bad word about them, the the KTM is on another planet (for 2 x + the value tho').

Eric

Ride reports will have to wait, Eric. But I'll share some other pics of my special day out with a Spitfire. Initally, I thought it would be much better to sit in a two seat trainer version, but in all honesty, to watch this beautiful machine in its natural habitat was totally fantastic. As I watched it soar around us in the chase aircraft, I kept thinking, My Dad flew one of those exact machines in combat.

And then I decided to retire my 15 year old car that has served us well for the past 11 years and bought a Mini Cooper. Nothing like spoiling ones self.  Bigsmile  This will be my daily driver as my MX5 doesn't come out unless the weather is good enough.

All that's left now is to begin planning a few nice trips to take on the KTM next year.

Good god no !  Hopefully I'll have plenty of time to invade my dealers and pester them for plenty of bikes.  Bigok

Just a 'heads up'.

I have just come home from a 17 day, 4000 mile trip through the UK, France, Italy, Germany, Austria, back into France and home to Northern Ireland via the UK and Southern Ireland.  Bike performed brilliantly. That is all !

Are you still running the stock air filter? I've read lots of reports of people switching to the Unifilter as it seals better than stock (lets in dirt).

Still on the stock air filter. Haven't even checked it despite some people getting their knickers in a twist.

Ride report will take a wee while to write up. I'm knackered !!!!!
