Harley, often considered the technology underdog, has beaten Triumph and Guzzi to the bat in offering ABS on their 2014 basic retro roadsters.  It's a $795 add-on.  Honda, meanwhile, had started offering ABS on their Shadows 1-2 years prior.  

It's good to see Harley making the Sportsters more friendly to daily riders and those not afraid to ride in adverse conditions.  Now if only Triumph and Guzzi would follow suit.

I would gladly trade the ABS option for a suspension that actually works, or brakes that don't feel like their made of wood.  Razz
