Alright—we're 3-4 days out, so time for a look at Hancock weather:

Weather Underground says...
FRIDAY: Partly cloudy in the morning, then overcast with a chance of rain. Fog early. High of 79F. Winds from the SSW at 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 20%.
SATURDAY: Mostly cloudy in the morning, then overcast. Fog early. High of 73F. Winds from the South at 5 to 15 mph. (No rain---woohoo!)
SUNDAY: Overcast with a chance of rain. Fog early. High of 66F. Winds less than 5 mph. Chance of rain 50%. (Grrr...chance of rain.)

And low temps at night will only get down to mid-50s...so early morning riding shouldn't be too chilly.

And a few bits from the Scientific Forecaster Discussion (the "behind-the-scenes" forecast---what the meteorologists REALLY think)...
Quote
Have chance probability of precipitation for showers and thunderstorms in the far west Friday afternoon. Most of the precipitation will hold off until the weekend with the late Sat frontal passage. This frontal passage is later than earlier forecast so maybe showers will not occur Friday.

That's looking pretty positive!  Thumbsup But wait, there's more...

Quote
Latest runs forecast the frontal passage around 18z Sat (2pm) with a moderate rainfall of a about a quarter to half inch. Front does have a connection to the tropics and the weakening tropical system over the western Gulf...but progressive nature of the front will limit risk of heavy rain.

Hmm...that doesn't sound so good.  Sad

Oh well...the forecast will keep getting more accurate each day.

Jinxed for sure.

I'm still packing a rain suit.   And maybe a small snow shovel just in case. Crazy

Yes we will have weather. There is no bad weather (within reason), only bad gear. Be prepared!

When I'm riding solo? Absolutely---no bad weather.

But riding with Jamie?  Crazy EEK!  Yes...there DEFINITELY is bad weather!  Lol (Nothing to ruin a ride like a miserable passenger!)

Yes we can  LOL

Last time you showed up we had 3 days of sunshine.

If it rains, and you're not there - well - what's the only logical conclusion a superstitious person can draw. EEK!
