QRide is an exciting new product that takes emergency identification to a new level.

Most wearable emergency IDs are difficult to notice if you are wearing them with bulky clothing (like a motorcycle jacket). They can also be hard to find if an accident victim is unconscious and is laying in a manner that the ID is not visible. Most of all, since most are in the form of a bracelet or dog tags, they can easily be forgotten since they are not part of most normal riding gear. We’ve developed QRide Advanced Emergency IDs to address several of these issues.

First, since QRide IDs affix to your favorite helmet, they go when and where you ride. No more forgetting your emergency ID on your dresser. Also, our IDs come in pairs so that you can put one on each side of your helmet. Think about it; the first place someone is going to look if you are unconscious or unresponsive is your face. “Hey, are you OK?” Doesn’t it make the most sense to put your emergency ID there? The idea behind our IDs is to be noticed. That’s why we’ve made them bright and emboldened them with the easily-recognizable Star Of Life symbol.

Next, QRide emergency IDs utilize a unique QR code that links directly to your own personalized ID record. The information that appears when someone scans your QRide can be as detailed as you want it to be. You can’t run out of room to tell your medical story. Emergency contacts (we’ll talk about that more in a moment), allergies, blood type…there’s plenty of room for it all.

Now, let’s revisit those emergency contacts – the people that you want notified as soon as possible in case you get hurt. With a wearable type of emergency ID, you would have room to have one or two emergency contact numbers printed or engraved on the ID. With QRide, there is no limit to how many contacts that you can list. Also consider that in an emergency, if the person who is helping you manages to find the engraved or printed emergency contact number on your ID, could they read it in a panic situation? Could they dial the number correctly? With QRide, when you scan the QR code with a smart phone, you would simply tap any of the contact numbers to dial them.

How it works

QRide IDs are sold in pairs. Both QRide ID stickers share the same unique QR code. They arrive to you un-programmed and non-activated. On the packaging is a unique alphanumeric code that identifies the IDs to us. Once you have your QRide product in hand, go to the Activate Your QRide section on our homepage, enter the unique alphanumeric QRide code and any emergency information that you would like to show in your profile when the QRide ID is scanned. The QRide ID will become active in about 24 hours.

QRide MOTO Emergency ID sells for $24.95 and is available in our online store.
