The Splitlath Redmond team out of the UK is fielding a couple EBR 1190RS bikes in the Macau GP in China The riders never had even been on one until proactice there. Here's a pic of the team. Mark Miller ran 13th in practice today, and believes he will run better.

They qualified their two bikes at 20th place and 32nd place and (of 32 entries). Ouch.
My bro Jeremy qualified 9th on a near-stock BMW HP4 that he'd never seen before this week, and despite recovering from a whole lot of bones broken just two months ago in a bad MX crash.

And BMW has already been running in WSBK. Experience certainly counts.
Damn, I was trolled. This is Macau we're talking about here. But my point still stands. Jeremy has a lot of seat time on the BMW. Sure, not the HP4 but it's the same basic bike. And he knows Macau really well.

WTF does this have to do with WSBK? Macau is a cool but nutty race, however its not part of World Superbike. Nothing in the link says anything about WSBK. Typically accurate post from Schneegz.

Probably Heritage Foundation told him Macau was the part of WSBK series.
