Yeah this is the tough part. Specific dates will be sorted later. You can change your vote within 90 days. Late planners will have to fend for themselves.

I voted for June although the last weekend in May will also work, it just needs to be AFTER the Memorial Day weekend.

If it's Weaverville again, definitely May. If it's Quincy, definitely June (just not the 7th and 8th!!!)

(By saying this multiple times, I'm pretty much guaranteeing it's going to be June 7th and 8th aren't I?)   Lol

You know, that kind of swill is why we're going to Ashland instead of Spray.    Wink

By the way, I voted June, but after Memorial Day weekend in May would probably work for me too.

I am going to get a custom seat done by Seth Laam in Redding … Ashland could complement that trip quite nicely and I am flexible as to dates to some extent.

I prefer June. May can have dicey weather. Last half of June the nice weather USUALLY kicks in.

Not for those who got up early, and headed west. Granted the ride back got a bit toasty, but it was a nice ride out 299 to forest road 1, and down to Mad River.

There is no denying that Weaverville was hotter than a crack pipe last June.  The many complaints about cold, dreary weather for WCRMs past had prompted a move inland and later in the calendar.  I rode through Fortuna and while it was roughly 127 degrees farenheit in Weaverville, it was a perfect 75 degrees in Fortuna.

Although Ashland generally doesn't get too hot, Medford can get amazingly warm in the summer, along with most of the rest of Southern Oregon.  My vote is if we're going to hold the WCRM away from the coast, it should happen before June 1st.

The weather is always going to be unpredictable in May and June but I just looked up the Medford June 1-15 weather history for the last 5 years and the daytime highs were in the 78-85 range.  July and August temperatures were much higher but the first 2 weekends in June have had very good riding conditions.

I've been keeping an eye on the WCRM date and location polls.  Now that they are closed, I see a possibility that I'll be able to make this meet depending on the final dates chosen.  If the meet is on the first full weekend of June (7-8), I'll be in the area assuming it is in the vicinity of the locations mentioned (Ashland / Medford).

I am planning a trip with a riding friend that will take us all the way to the left coast and back.  We are planning to leave New Brunswick on the last week of May and slab it to the Black Hills of SD. That would put us in southwest Oregon around day 14 of our trip which would be around the June 7-8 dates.

I'll keep a close eye on the WCRM threads to see what are the final dates and locations.
