Extra Short Person riding Extra Tall Motorcycle (KTM Enduro R)

Well, so I've got this rather excellent KTM 690 Enduro R. 2010 model - the one that's like climbing on to a camel. Oh, and it's got a Seat Concepts seat on it, so it feels even taller, but this is somewhat mitigated by having more sag in the rear.
I'm 5'5" tall. Riding it is no problem - nor is stopping; I just hang off the left side. Getting off is a deliberate rolling dismount, which I'm used to from the DRZ, so it's not really a problem.
Getting
on
it, however, is difficult. Mount like a horse while on sidestand, flip bike over to right side, kick stand up (which is not trivial; it's -way- down there).
What I was wondering is ... has anyone done a rolling
mount
? My google-fu is weak today. I understand the basic concept:
* Put stand up
* Stand close to bike
* Step on left footpeg
* Lil gas, lil clutch
* When bike starts rolling stand up and swing a leg over
Am I overthinking it? I'm worried that the sudden suspension compression will cause the bike to fall on me or something while I get on.
Yes, yes, I can lower the bike - I have the parts, but I'd like to avoid it if I can - it's a pleasure to ride just how it is.

As a fellow short dude (gotcha beat! I'm 5'6"
) and an owner of a fairly tall XR400, I can understand your situation. This might sound goofy as all get out, but could you rig up some sort of cable that is attached to your kickstand on one end and easily fastened somewhere on the bike that is easy to reach?
Then, just mount the bike like a horse, flip bike over to right side to remove weight from kickstand, pull on kickstand cable and up she comes! Of course, you'd have to make sure the cable couldn't snag on anything important while your moving.

5'5" is towering!!
I do the method you're already doing, though I totally relate that getting the side stand up can be hard. I was thinking something along the same lines as Tyrroneous' cable suggestion.

Nope. It's been my go-to for people wanting to change their world that it's become an inside joke on most forums. Usually it's followed with a comment about they were waiting for it and why did it take me so long.

I do the rolling start even on the low XT sometimes just to keep in practice. It's a cool skill to have just in case and it works your balance too. Practice on a bicycle will help to get the motion smooth and work out that "it's falling away from me" panic that could be induced.
