I picked some new gloves today. I decided to get an extra pair for regular riding and chose these: http://www.motorcyclegear.com/street/closeouts/gloves/agv_sport/ion_gloves.html  I thought it to be a pretty fair price on closeout.

I also picked up these waterproof gloves: http://www.motorcyclegear.com/street/closeouts/gloves/cortech_by_tour_master/hydro_gt_gloves.html

I decided to get the gloves after I was riding in a downpour yesterday. Luckily, I had rain gear on. The only thing I was missing was waterproof gloves to change into. One of the worst rain storms I have ever ridden through.

Anyone have any experience with either of these styles?

Unless you can fit your gloves inside your jacket sleeves, water is going to run down your arms into your gloves. Until I manage to find a jacket that the sleeves open up enough to cover I just carry a couple pair of gloves. I may be the Emelda Marcos of gloves Lol.

Only if you have a big windshield.  There is no water running down the sleeves when I'm on my Ninja.  Well, maybe when I'm at a stop light...

I have a pair of these Aerostich rain covers.  They work great! Dry, dry, dry.  They look a bit weird but, when you get them figured out they are not noticeable.

Especially nice is the squeegee on the thumb for clearing your face shield.
