Well, sadly right now it's in the shop getting all the locks replaced because some idiot lost the keys  

It hasn't been all roses but I do love the bike.  I've had to do a lot of fiddling/dyno tuning to smooth out the throttle, there was a bad hiccup right over 4k that was seriously annoying and I think I've finally gotten rid of it for the most part.  Almost caused me to crash at the track when I rolled on the gas in a corner and nothing happened then it all the sudden tried to catch up with itself.   Crazy

But other than that it's been great.  It's got fantastic brakes and suspension and just rails around corners.  I feel confident enough to pass people on the outside at track days and I know I've got plenty of lean left over.  As far as the chassis is concerned I'd put it at the top, even over my old Aprilia which I thought I'd never beat.  

Plenty of power and it makes a great noise.  And I just love looking at it.  Every little piece is just so well designed makes me glad I didn't buy a Hypermotard.

I know this is a "show" thread, but I have a question.  How did you fix the hiccup?  My Super Duke's throttle was perfect but my 990 Adventure has the same hiccup.  It's very infrequent, but when it happens, it's a pain in the ass (especially when exiting a corner).

To be honest I'm not sure if it's totally cured.  I think it's partially dependent on weather conditions.  But I had the bike dyno tuned, which help enormously.  It still had a bit of a hiccup, so every morning on my way to work I would dial the fueling up or down a couple percent in the 4k-4.5k range until it mostly went away.  I'd have to look at my mapping but I think I ended up running it a bit leaner in that one spot.  I'll attach my map when I get home.

Gettin' it on Summit Main at a trackday.  Unfortunately I couldn't get my lap times down enough to be competitive (ie winning) in the Amateur Heavyweight class so she'll remain a streetbike/backup trackday steed.  It was fun though!

Taking turn 9 at speed on a bike takes big ones as the runoff is... well.... nearly non existent.    Bigok

Yeah, if done correctly you can make a straight out of T7 into T9 with a quick dip to the left around T8.  I've never paid attention to the runoff area other than T4 and the wall.  If you don't look at it you'll have a hard time getting close to it.  Last time I had the SD there both tires slipped out in T9 and the exhaust header scraped but she gathered herself back together and we kept on trucking.

I think Summit would be downright scary on a bike.  I guess it's better now that it has been resurfaced, before it seemed so dang bumpy even in a car.

I'd like to do a track day on the bike, but for now I think I will stick to 4 wheels.
