I've been fighting the desire to get one of those for years. There was a leftover 2010 at the local dealer until this summer, but they wouldn't deal enough on it. They look like license-losing levels of fun.

Gearing up in preparation for a three week tour from Northern Ireland to the UK and then Europe. I bought Holan Nomada panniers for the 1190 as I didn't quite fancy KTM's own panniers. These aluminium boxes are 2mm thick and very well made plus totally waterproof.

I've also been farkling the bike over the winter with lots of unnecessary orange bling and don't think there's much more I want to do now. The most recent thing was painting the headlight surround to brighten up the face of the bike, which I really like. Next on the list is to get the MSC (motorcycle stability control) software installed. I don't know if I'll just get it done at my dealers or if KTM would do it for me when I visit the factory in Austria on the 9th of July while having a factory tour.

Can I play too? My 450SMR in front, another friends, then mines previous owners '12 450SMR. Love this bike so much, it's the best track bike I have ever used. We get along well
