Nah, we all voted against the only SoCalish choice- the Central Coast.  Why?  We've ridden it plenty.  Sure, it's spectacular and the riding is fantastic, but it's a bit like being married to a supermodel... you get the drift.

I do think we haven't seen all there is in the Chester area and would like to go back there.  Stay in Chico this time, though- it's a college (and famous party) town so food and beer will both be better.

I have to admit that the roads were pretty sweet over there in Chester. The town was a dud, but we've covered that.

I'd do Chico.  I suggested it for a WCRM or a .5 meet before.

Really, though, it doesn't matter all that much.

I'll be there no matter where it is.   Cool  Just let me know where to ride.   Bigok

+1 on that!  Thumbsup

I'm thankful to have the Central Coast reasonably close by but at this point I would opt for something else that I haven't ridden so many times.

I agree with you Miles,  I'd love to get back to the North Eastern part of CA at least one more time to explore that area.  Any further North and it becomes increasingly difficult to do in three day's with out major slab work.

Also, like Fortuna, the North Eastern Ca region is a reasonable half way point that might accommodate more peoples' schedules all along the west region.

It seems as if we all agree that Chester is NOT a good destination so could we change this poll to name Chico as an option instead of Chester?

You've convinced me. I love Chico, and I know there are some epic roads in the area. Vote changed...
