Well the F650 is safe and tucked away in its new home. The 460 mile blast down I5 wasnt the most fun I ever had on a bike but I got to know the 650 pretty well.  Lol I spent a few hours cleaning her up and test fitting a windshield yesterday. Good news is Chris (my wife) can ride it as is (no lowering required). I ordered her a new set of Barkbusters with storm covers and a Givi trunk. She will be ready to rock and roll on the Porterville ride later this month. Thanks Carolyn, it was nice meeting you guys.

The first time I sat on it that's exactly what I thought, why would you go down another inch?  Lol  But yeah there are links that will lower it another inch.

Yep, the thumper is the stock suspension.  I think it could be lowered at least 1" if need be.   Twofinger

That windscreen looks great on the bike! Yay!  And I'm glad Chris can ride it!

Now you just need to put tape over that temperature light and everything will be hunky dory Lol Lol

You know, last night I had the cluster apart putting blue LEDs in it for the Speedo and Tach, I eyed the temp bulb and though....hum I could just pull the bulb out.  Lol I may take the temp sensor out of the head and see if its within spec (if there is a way to test it). But the light only came on that one time and hasnt been on since.  Wink

Yeah we have a good start to a "collection"  Lol Actually I am in the process of buying a new house too. My only requirement was at least a 3 car garage (the one car garage and 900sq ft apartment just ain't doing it now). Chris can pick out what ever else she wants or needs in a house.  Cool Everyone is invited to the house warming party, should be in late July or August.  Bigsmile
