It was a blue SV with an empty Givi top case rack BTW.  Jerkwood is only if I'm afraid the backroads will be icy, or if I'm in a 4-wheeler.  My a.m. commute is generally is backroads up thru Landenberg and Hockessin areas to the intersection of 141 and 48 where I work.  The p.m. route often includes some combo of Barley Mill, Centreville, 82 and 100.  When I've got the time I may take 82 all the way to 841 to 896.

Not me then. I have a Ventura rack could be mistaken for a Givi but it's not empty.

I usually take 48 to Hercules/Stoney Batter/New Linden Hill but traffic is getting worse and that route is getting to be more annoying.

I never ride during the winter months.  The bike(s) get stored in mid-November and come out again in April.

This year will probably an early April year.  We didn't get a lot of snow in South-East New Brunswick.

The worst will be waiting for the salt and sand to go away.

Same as Acadian Rider, there is no way to ride for us in the winter but...my bike did yesterday!

In first gear, on the centerstand, with a fan blowing at the front of the engine, I manage to add 10 Km to it charging the battery. That garage smell so good. Inlove

Every year my wife marks the riding season kick-off date on the calendar. It will be April 17th weekend.

Two weeks is the longest period for not riding this winter.Of course the ST is wired for heated gear, but I've put 1,000 miles on the Falco.

I did jump on a 2 cylinder 600 cc two stroke for a bit.   But is was my almost never used snowmobile.

Gotta do that more,  doing a "wheelie" is fun at any temp.   Stoppies are harder though. Rolleyes

It's been a weird winter here in Pittsburgh. Neither bike has been started since Thanksgiving weekend. Unrelenting snow and below freezing temps. I usually manage to rack up 1000 - 1500 miles.

Ditto in Easton / Bethlehem area - Dec & Jan was Farcking freezin - then Feb snow.

Just got out on Friday for the 1st time - RTW - it was NICE Smile
