Good thing you don't superslide on your feet!

That was quick with the insurance check. You may make the Potomac Highlands Meet after all  Bigsmile

I'm hoping I can make the Potomac meet. I dropped the bike off at the shop last Fri and they will look at it this week. They had a lot of bikes sitting in the repair area and I'm not sure how long it takes to get the parts. If they are really back up (like months) I may just get the parts and fix it myself. The only thing I'm a little hesitant on would be the linkages on the final drive. Here's hoping for the best! Lol  Hopefully the ankle's healed up too.  Lol

You could always have the shop do the difficult stuff and you take care of the easier items and get some money back.

That's what I had in mind. The only thing I'm a little sketchy is the final drive, the rest no problem.  If they can get to it in a reasonable amount of time the can do the whole enchilada, I just don't want to be without a bike all summer.

I hope you are enlisted in some torture, er, I mean Physical Therapy to regain full use of your foot.

Glad to hear your Connie lives.  Best of luck.

Not yet, but I'll see what they say at my follow up apt. I've been trying to gently move it around myself already and I worked today, it didn't help. Crazy

The ankle is still pretty sore, apparently chipped bones take a while to heal. Lol  I got the ins. check and the bike is at the dealer. I dropped it off a week ago and they were supposed to look at it early this week and call me. They haven't. I hope it doesn't turn in to a three month fiasco. I'm not really known for being patient. But yeah, I'll be back in the saddle as soon as possible.  A big thanks to Frenchie on the avatar, makes me chuckle too. Given the crash circumstances I think the name fits.
