Not much there. You're better off crossing the river into southeast Ohio, heading south a bit, and staying in Marietta. Marietta is a good town in the middle of awesome riding. Southeast OH rocks hard.

Really? It looks like New Martinsville is surrounded by sweet riding on the WV side AND the OH side?

There is great riding across the river from New Martinsville, but Marietta makes a better place to base rides out of IMO. You can do a northern loop to hit all the stuff in southeast Ohio (up to Woodsfield). But Marietta also provides easy access to 555, 78, and the Hocking Hills area plus you can cross the river and rock 31/47 east to catch a great section of route 16 (between 50/Ellenboro and jct I-79).

Hey, wait a minute. I'm having deja-vu all over again.
Seriously, Marietta would be the ideal base for a few
days of riding.
Pack some Dramamine.

Yeah really, there's more service choice there (Marietta) and its still in the thick of KA riding. In fact a bit better positioned than NM, at least 30+ years of riding that area tell me so Wink
