See you there.
I just signed up for the Moonshine Special ride. It involves a minor detour to Moonshine via Lebanon, MO to make it 1000 miles.

Just signed up for the SS1000 - Cedar Rapids, IA to Casey, IL via Solon, OH.
Got a room for Friday at the Super 8 in Marshal. Hope to see some of the R4 guys there.

I'll be there Saturday if it's not pouring down rain. I'm only about 100 miles from there. I would be nice to meet some of the people from the board.

When you register, you can opt in for camping at Terry's farm. It's where the cool kids stay. No electricity, port-potties and plenty of fun from what I hear. This'll be my first year staying there.

Camping at the farm is the only way to go. Last year they even had rented a shower for us
cheap ass
frugle
bastards
riders.
What can be better then sitting around the bonfire telling stories? I was sitting with 3 ham radio operators that did not know they had that hobby in common went they sat down.
And don't worry about the wild life. The coyotes will keep them at bay. Normally you just hear them howl, but one did run through camp last year.

sleazy rider should me a Zack save you a spot. I am thinking about going down on Friday and camping til Sunday. This would be a good oppurtunity for me and Zack to do a shakedown run of our gear before our trip out west.

I'm leaving after work on Thursday, so I'll be in Casey NLT 3pm on Friday. If you're not there yet, I'll save you two a spot. Got some paperwork to do at the Quality Inn when I finally make it to town. Leaving on Sunday after breakfast too.

Looks like rain for a few days in the upper midwest. I've always wondered why the Moonshine Run is so early in the spring.Seems like a good time, but Spring around here is pretty volatile..Get better Ed.
As always I live vicariously thru pictures!

Terry Hammond, the rider/originator of the MLR, was a farmer by trade and wanted to have a gathering but needed for it to be early in the season so it didn't interfere with him getting to work in the fields.
