I said religious leaders.
I do not know that they stray any more than any other group, but when it is your job/life calling to teach others social values and ethics out of the big book of your choice, it makes falling that much more noticeable.
Politicians are expected to be unethical so it is no shock when they fall.

Time out!

"Politicians" currently hold the lead in this unscientific poll, but Judges, I have yet to see or hear of any Professional accreditation or certification for politicians.
Personal professional accomplishments aside, any bozo can be a politician, and most are.

Just so's you know, none of the prositutes I've ever worked with suffered any ethical lapses.  So maybe hookers ought to run this place?

Politicians, with religion being a very close second.  Crazy

+1
I didn't see the religion option until after I selected politician.  The ethical lapses of those in the religious business are usually more severe than the political ones.  Cheater on your spouse or taking a bribe is one thing.  Molesting a child is on another level.

For me it's the fact that the religious people make it their profession to judge people, and then when they don't think anyone is looking they do the same crap they tell others not to.  Then the salaries some of them draw, holy crap.  Crazy  There's a few decent ones I'm sure, but the % that don't do half of what they preach is very high.

It is not just molesting children.  Jim and Tammy Fae Bakerr stole millions of donated money.  I have a family member that is a youth pastor and he is involved in an 18% interest only real estate loans.  Jerry Fawell had a very public affair with a seceratary break the news.  I would bet that child molesting is the smallest percentage of the offenses.

Oh, I am sure its a small percentage of the offenses as well.  Just sayin it takes a lot of affairs to equal one molestation.

I selected "other" for Security Guards...

I think most Security Guards don't do their most basic jobs, and just go through the motions.

Which profession has the most lapses in professional behavior?

You sure about pimps?  Seems like pimps know the profession well and uphold the standard.

I almost jumped to click on Lawyer, then thought about Politician, but you all brought upo very good arguments.

I am not going to say Religion, even though, it has caused more loss of life, many scandals and SINS,

My first inclination was to click lawyers, then scanned down and saw religious...

A dead winner.  Those of us who are or have been Catholic know better than to leave priests in the same room alone with our children...

I suppose you have some personal experience on which to base your innuendo?

I should have allowed multiple choices. That, I think, would have improved the results.
