The Gateway Restaurant at the base of Spruce Knob road and 33 is my favorite restaurant. They always have a variety of interesting side orders. The apples or peaches with cinammon are good. The pies are good also. Eat There.

Speaking of food, the Fireside Café in Franklin (jct 33 and 220) has BBQ on some Saturdays. Don't know if this weekend is a BBQ Saturday or not.

So is anyone coming?

I'm 50/50 due to family obligations on Saturday. I'll know tomorrow for sure.

I'm too busy getting ready to scare the kiddies for Halloween...

And riding in the dirt this weekend.

If my eye isn't driving me crazy.

Well I just got home after riding 130 miles in the rain. To a dead thread with not one commitment. Oh well................

Some weekends work for people, some don't. Weather isn't particularly nice today. Have a great ride. I am heading out in the mountains east of Pittsburgh for a cool, cloudy and damp day of dual sport riding. Couldn't find anyone to join me either, so it'll be a solo ride.

thatguy,
I would do this ride in a heartbeat if I wasn't here in PG County visiting family. You seem to know the WV area well.
To bad the colors won't be there for next weekend.

Really? I spent the day in the Laurel Highlands of PA (Seven Springs ski resort area) and the colors really weren't in full swing yet, even at elevation (~2700 ft). Things are still very green. Are colors peaking to the south already?

Down here in the eastern panhandle the leaves are dropping quickly. They're dropping w/o changing color too. Haven't been up high yet this week. I go by this report. Regardless I'll hit Spruce Knob, ect. tomorrow and post up some photos.
