So whats the story?  Are there rooms still available?

I heard they were sold out for left lane hogging, Indiana Trooper fearing, BMW switch gear hating, NY attitude laden snobs.... Twofinger

Uh, yes, but not many.  I just got off the phone with the motel. There are only 2 rooms left!  I would suggest if you are going on this trip that you call and make your reservation ASAP (207-864-3755).  Even if you are a single we can find you a room-mate.  When I called a week ago they had 6 rooms left.  This is Maine in the summer after all.

Still, two more rooms is not going to cut it.  It looks like we will need a backup motel for Friday.  We stayed at the Saddleback Inn a couple years ago and that was decent.  Rates are $125 a night for 2 queens and they have room.

Maybe I'll shoot up early Saturday.  Will have to make sure the VFR is back on the road by then, or the ZX12R is fully serviced.

From talking to a few people it sounds like we have this many committed:

1) me
2) Andy
3) Dean
4) Doug
5) Joe
6) Marc
7) Bill

and some maybe's:

8) Scott
9) LitzerSki
10) Charlie

Has anyone else definitely reserved a room?  Saturday is not looking like a problem.  If people are interested I could help coordinate 4 people for a cottage Saturday night.

Please tell me you are taking Friday off...or we'll have to give you an honorary Iron Butt Award.

I smell an arm wrestling match for the last remaining rooms... Lol

I'm not sure if i'm taking Friday off and the hotel guy told me he may not have a room available Friday night.  Not sure if I want to ride up not knowing if I have a place to sleep. Wink

No arm wrestling necessary, I'm booked mofo! Bigsmile

I reserved a room for both nights, 2 double beds. Gonna share with Marc11.
Guess I better look into some rain gear.

Maybe you should stop beating him at night.

Glad to hear you're going Scott. So let me you plans unless you're hooking up with Marc.
