She rides a fully custom Sportster for commuting, and has a LowRider for longer trips.

He has a Rigid that was converted into a trike after he lost his leg (in a 'Club related' incident)

Some of the guys I used to wrench for are 1%ers and still around. We say hello in passing at a gas station, but that's about it. Two wheels is about all I have in common with any of them.

Fight parties? Wow!, ruff crowd here. Though, I actually host fight parties every time I go for a ride. It's me and my gang of one vs. this real tough gang called 'The Pavement'. Those fookers are everywhere, and they beat my ass more than once. Mostly I'm a wimp, so I just try to avoid them. Maybe I'm paranoid, but I always get the feeling that they're always 2-3 feet away, you don't want to fuck with these guys! They fucking cracked my ribs with the 'ol sprinkler runoff across the road diversion three years back. I thought I was smart, because I saw their ruse well in time to avoid the major risk. Just got on the gas a little 'too' early after crossing their death-trap....  Crazy

Yes, Long ago in a galaxy far away.

I was a member of a 3 piece patched club and we schmoozed with other organizations that were 1%ers for political reasons. We always left before dark, on their recommendation. Always felt comfortable (never threatened) in their presence.

Any of you read the book 'Hells Angels' by Hunter Thompson?

Good read.
